lyrics

THE STARVING TIME - As the driving rain forces us from our homes, where will we go? So much is left to do but no one will carry the load. When you take so much they’ll leave us on our own, hundreds more will die. Those who won’t work won’t eat. They’ll starve out in the cold! It’s been said before and still holds true today. A mangled mess of our wasted lives, bent and broken. It’s made us rethink our entire sense of who we really are… Who we really are… There are no class barriers here There are no classes for the dead We’ve sown our own fields with our broken bones, destroyed our future hope. Despite these rejections we wonder why nothing grows. The starving time has hit so close to home, our supplies are running low. Those who won’t work won’t eat. They’ll starve out in the cold! It’s been said before and still holds true today. A mangled mess of our wasted lives, bent and broken. It’s made us rethink our entire sense of who we really are… of who we really are… of where we really are… The Starving Time, has buried us beneath!
